Betty the tansy beetle.
Betty loves other bugs and is looking for a fellow entomologist to live with. She enjoys browsing museums and watching nature documentaries. Her favourite treat is peach rings.
Betty is a completely ooak piece. Her little wings have been heavily beaded by hand to resemble the colour shift usually seen on tansy beetles. Though hard to pick up in photos, her wings are covered in blue, green and peach beads which give a beautiful colour shift when the light hits her.
Because of the beading, her wings are slightly more fragile than my usual plushies so please take care when handling her.
Betty is made with minky plush fabric with hand embroidered details and filled with polypellets.
